This book I really enjoyed doing as I have known Wing Commander Kenneth Wallis since I was a young lad and he always seemed to me to be Biggles in true life.

I have to thank my father for his material and Ken Wallis for the wealth of material submitted and for all the help and inside facts.

The now world famous Little Nellie, really is an amazing little machine that is deceptive in what seems its simplistic nature.

Don’t underestimate this little autogyro, it really can do the things it was shown to do in the film, and those flying scenes in the film You Only Live Twice were really done as this was before film makers used CGI and other computer tricks.

It’s a small world really, because my father also knew the wonderful Group Captain Hamish Mahaddie, who contacted Ken Wallis to be in the You Only Live Twice film. Hamish was also involved with securing the aircraft for the Battle of Britain film, but that is another story, though did you know that the German Bombers that appeared in the Battle of Britain film came from the Spanish Air Force?

You Only Live Twice is a stunning and colourful film that is a thrilling spy/adventure movie that is classic James Bond 007 entertainment from the Producers Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, and I trust that my book does it justice.
